Can't believe, had a hot dry summer with next to no rain and intense heat.

Had 1 1/2 inches of rain on Friday and woke up this AM to 8 inches of snow, busted trees everywhere.

At least it will instill a little appetite in the the newly weaned calves

Raining here, but really cold, enough to think that we might get some snow here too.

Hinton (Alberta) got I think over 8 inches of the white stuff Thurs, and kids were out making snowmen already

Can't wait for the weather to clear up to finish combining...

The calves are humped up like they are going to do a 1 1/2 pike of the diving board.

Just love the moisture though!

Spring and fall are my two favorite seasons, as a light jacket is sufficient. But today we had a high of 2C, looking for our first frost here!

We had about 3-4 inches of snow plus a couple inches of rain as of yesterday. Friends of ours 1/2 hour away had 8-10 inches of snow, it was blowing, and there were drifts. We are down near the border south of Swift Current and Moose Jaw
