1st Calf - EVER

Haven't been on the boards in a while. I switched from a feedlot to cow/calf operation about a year ago. Just had the first calf drop last week. Amazing! Brangus bull and Hereford heifer. I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how... :banana:

Congrats on your 1st born. Still remember my 1st. Prettiest hereford heifer I ever seen. Still think herefords make the prettiest babies. Sure beats them black blobs.

Congrats on the calf. It is sure a wonderous thing to behold when all goes well. not trying to sound like an old salt just had mine recently and realize lots could go wrong. Hey where are the cigars LOL.

I haven't been on the boards in a while either. I've been way too busy catching up from 2009. Congrats on the new baby! There are few things as nice as pulling up to a live/healthy newborn calf and watching it get up and start life.
