Our fire dept had pumper with 318 Detroit . The bottom end is rattling. What is a good source of rebuilt crate engines of this breed? I have found 8v92 in salvage yard. Will bell housings interchange?

My 135 diesel will slowly lose rpms unless you keep your hand on the throttle. Is their an adjustment for this?

Just bought a 135 Massey diesel. The hydraulic fluid looked new but after 15 hours it's yellowish. I keep it covered up. Is this moisture or something else? How hard is it to change hydraulic filter?

the bad part on the masseys is the hydraulics. very slow and if you push clutch in too far, the pump stops... outside of that can't beat em

Look into a gas powered centrifugal pump they are high capacity and durable

I saw a double v rake with pto shaft extension and hitch so you can rake and bale at same time. Anybody have any info? Thamks

I used to mow for the highway dept on steep banks and big rocks. Masseys will out pull just about anything. the old Fords like my 3000 are hard to beat. All I hear about the new stuff is complaints

what size massey? how does that new holland compare to the old massey? :cboy:

what if truck companies gave free samples to farmers etc to test, or just checked with those of us who keep the old stuff instead of buying new?

there shouldn't be a problem going to the 18.4s. usually you can go up a size without problems
