    Tractor hp

I have two Tractors that I use to move Bales. A Kubota 95 HP 4WD and a JD 35HP 4WD. I added 600lbs to the front of the JD and have no problem moving bales with a Hay Spike on the rear. The smaller tractor is much cheaper to operate.

    Suggestions on mowers

Just bought a Woods BW 180 which is a Medium Duty 15' Bat Wing Rotary Mower. I am very pleased with it, but the Shaft is a son of a gun to get hooked up to the PTO, due to its weight. Do not know where the gear boxes are made, but they come with a 5 year warranty.

Thanks to everyone who added their thoughts to the original post. I did get some very useful information. Traveller brand oil

IMHO If you can afford the equipment, you can afford to use quality fuel and lubricants. Any time I see an off brand a couple of bucks cheaper, I skip it and move on to the good stuff.
