    The Problem With Customer Service...

I suspect that all of the employees got a good laugh out of this afterwards. It is rare that employees in retail care about their employer as their employer cares nothing for them. Do you think they really care (or even know about) WalMart's principles? You would be better off appealing to their...

    Thousands of old tires

If the entire lot ever catches on fire, you will likely be required to evacuate until the fire is put out (could be a couple of weeks). Tire fires produce a large amount of heavy smoke and tend to be extremely difficult to put out.

    Any computer experts out there?

People rarely build their own systems to save money (although with high-end systems you can save a considerable amount). People build their own to give them the ability to select their own components and to create a higher quality systems. OEM components are generally of a much lower quality...

    Ethanol loosing steam??

Frankie, If you were responding to my post then I think you overestimate the impact ethanol can have. There are many more factors that affect gasoline prices such as refinery utilization, global tensions, strikes, weather, season, etc than just ethanol production.

    Ethanol loosing steam??

Given that 4% of our fuel consumed was ethanol in 2006, making 10% is going to be an easy target with the number of plants coming online in 2007-early 2008. The real issue is deploying the infrastructure necessary to consume more than 10% Probably not any different than what it is now. The...

    info on 04 Dodge

I am on my second Dodge Ram at this point (1998 1500 4x4, 87,000 miles). The previous owner (my father) babied the thing. It had to tow a trailer once in its life. All service was done at the dealership and all maintinence schedules were followed. At 81,000 miles the transmission blew with no...

    Why the low quality/speed memory?

AMD Turion 64--Its not a bull....

Processors can only really be compared when hooked up to machines designed only to test processors (vs a computer). If a system with an AMD (or Intel) processor "seems" slower then it is due to either a hardware/software problem or more likely, because the other compoenents in the computer are...

AMD Turion 64--Its not a bull....

For the past ~5 years or so the difference has been that Intel processors are more energy efficient and run cooler than AMD processors, but are also more expensive. This has changed a bit now that AMD has caught enough of the market share where they are both competing on price. Depending on the...

    Another hay shipping question

That is a huge red flag right there. Anyone conducting business (other than the absolute smallest operations) would have their own domain (such as [email protected]).

Thanks for the info. Do all of those numbers apply specifically to dairy cows or do they apply to beef as well?

    feed consumed

I'm doing a bit of research and am having a bit of trouble tracking down the answer to a basic question: How much feed/forage is consumed per head for dairy/beef cattle? I know this would depend on the breed and location. The location would be the upper midwest (Wisconsin). I am not sure of the...
