    Homozygousity

from what i remember in biology class.... the only way u can assure a black calf is if both parents hold the dominant black gene. If one of them has a recessive gene its a 75% chance of being black, and 25% chance of being the other color. Unfortunetly it gets more complicated when 2 colors...

    Gotta buy a truck

My boyfriend who works at peterbilt says he agrees with the last post. The facts on heating to normal operting temp., and sustaining that for more than a brief period is crucial! Class 8 trucks were not designed for puttin around the farm. Also, if it were me i would be more inclined to get a...

    Skinny calf?

I did the rubber band trick, they're all shriveled up and about to fall off. I met an old time rancher who took me around his ranch. He taught me how to use the rubber band contraption on one of his calves and then let me borrow it to use on my calves. Nice old guy who helped me out a lot. I...

He's very wary about humans, and will only come up to a human if there is a fence between him and you. I need to take him to the vet to get...

My truck is stuck in the mud any ideas how to get it out?

The easy way out would be a tractor. If there are any strong trees around i would bring a come along into the picture. Air down ur tires and slowly easy onto the throttle. U want to make sure u dont spin ur tires! If you have any rocks around put them under the rear wheels to bring traction once...
