Question.... i put the tiny rubber band around my 2 bull calfs balls using the correct instrament about 2 months ago. Their balls are all shriveled up and hard as a rock. I made sure i got both testies below the rummber band but their balls wont fall off. I thought it would only take a few weeks for them to fall??? any ideas??

I have had a few stay on for three months. If you are going to give booster shots while you have them up and if it is really bothering you cut them off below the rubber band. I know sheep guys that will band and two days later cut the sac off so they do not have to smell the rotting. Really I would not worry. Thye will come off in do time.

thanx, i feel better now...im havin the vet out soon for shots, i'll have them take a look at em too.

How old was the calf when you banded him?

I have found that the older the calf is when you band him, the longer it takes for the sac to dry and fall off.
