April Fools. BTW - Silly question, your management and environment have more to do with the WW and YW than genetics or breeds.

    Ethics revisited

There happens to be a few breeders out there that have some ethics. I know a few. I have a breeder friend in Montana that will tell you the good bad and the ugly with nothing to hide. Then there are the rest of the lot. most of those don't even know what the word ethical means. I have seen too...

    Brindling in Herefords

3027 was at origen outside billings last fall....there were other bulls there that were ten thousand times better bulls...angus hereford and red angus.... I will tell you exactly what I think....I wont argue with you about it either....It's just my nature....

    Brindling in Herefords

I have seen the bull twice....In my opinion the best thing they could do would be cut his head off and dump all the semen....the bull is a dink....too many problems in this bull that you will never be able to breed away from....he is just a bull based on EPD's and hype...no phenotype or...

    Horned Herfords

Mostly true... Some of the polled cattle broke away from the AHA and formed the APHA.....The AHA still registered polled cattle after the breakaway. When the polled asked to come back to the AHA all they would have had to do was pay the money and they were welcome back. In the end it did not...

Holdens Catalog is up on the web

I have been through that cowherd. I would have to say they are one of the best sets of cows I have been seen in that last 35 years. There are frame 5 to 6.5 cattle there now. The cows are very feminine with great udders. When you go through this herd you do not see alot of problems. These bulls...

    Pretty ticked off

In the fawn calf study that Beevers and Steffens are doing for the Angus assoc they state that the genome sequence is either incomplete or incorrect.....hmmmmmm...maybe the mailman had something to do with the sequences....or maybe it was a whole bus load of unknown "mailmen"....

    Pretty ticked off

Hmmmmm....what about the Fawn calf or the long faced dwarf problem in the Angus. The Angus Association didnt even want to talk to me about it. I guess their day will come when the number of these calves is great enough. I was told it was not a problem for the commercial man. I have kept count...
