World Youth Day has just finished in Sydney Australia. There were 500,000 at mass at Randwick racecourse in Sydney yesterday. The Pope has caused a great deal of excitement here for Catholics and some other religions. A few protestors threw condoms at the "Pilgrims" walking along the street a couple of days ago. Sydneysiders aren't very happy about the disruption to traffic whilst the festivities were in progress.Wonder what would happen if the Muslims wanted to have such a gathering,now that a precedence has been set. :cboy:

Watched some of the the World Youth Day celebration on EWTN yesterday. Looked like a very big "supportive" crowd. Regardless of WHO is in the parade or what he/she represents there will always be some that will try to interfere.

Haven't got to see or meet Pope "Benni" in person but was privledged to meet Pope JP II in person once. :clap:

Bama....Two muslim mothers were sitting together looking at pictures of their children...one said to the other "They blow up so quickly now days".
