I did some research on the Aubrac bull Trin had in his tank ... he's an 81% crossbred bull, chocolate brown and not a fullblood (therefore less heterosis than a fullblood).
I will say I've flushed to this bulls paternal grandsire, and I used to own his maternal granddam ... a very solid F1 Aubrac x Limmy cow who produced annually after her 10th birthday. I've also seen his paternal granddam at her 16th birthday, producing annually - she's an excellent cow.
I've never eaten any of his offspring and I've never DNA tested this bull.
So, other than that, I really can't offer any specific comments on the future beef other than I would suspect that, depending on the beef quality traits the cows possess, the beef should be good eating or better. I would also suspect any replacements would have good mama cow traits.
Good luck!
