What for Christmas dinner?

Help Support CattleToday:

Special prayer for the Mrs and also for you CB. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope she comes away as good as new and I hope you have the Merriest Christmas possible considering your situation.

Sorry to hear that CB, hopefully you get a speedy recovery for Christmas!

On the plate for tomorrow are two nice fat ducks.... MMmmmm

Cath lab schedule for tomorrow she is stable in ICU where I stay locked out of about 22 hours a day.
Talking about moving her to step down today that will cause a Mongol horde to descend upon us as they are all saddled up.

What time do we eat? Is there room for one more?? :)

Ham, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, unknown corn that was good, rolls. No deserts. That's probably for the best though. Cactus Fuels (our diesel supplier) brought it out to the rig for us.

I started with:

The salads and snack stuff:

2 different kinds of ham down at the far end, dressing, mashed taters, sweet tater casserole, green bean casserole, home built mac'ncheese, and I don't know what else. That by the way, is my twin. He couldn't taste any of it except the mashed taters/gravy. (in chemo--you can see he's lost most of his hair)

One the other end, desserts, including a rum cake that was a mite powerful, key lime pie, pecan pie, chocolate pie, cherry pie, some other kind of cake, and a lemon pie.

Life is good--as is God and we've been so incredibly blessed here.

CB, sorry to hear about your wife and her health trouble--hope you have good news to post soon. Prayers and thoughts for you and your.

Greybeard; so glad to see that your twin is up and going and able to attend the get together. I hope that the chemo will be able to do some good.
Looks like quite a feast there too!!!!

I did but was best when I got back to the farm.

Wife's family is from out of state, we went to see them for an early Christmas already.
We did Christmas Eve with some of my Mother's family, had Turkey.
Christmas morning here at home with my wife and kids, just had breakfast sandwiches.
Early dinner/late lunch with my immediate family at my folk house Christmas afternoon.
Had a Honeybaked Ham and tamales, veggies etc.
