where can I find out what tractors a Bush Hog 2400QT loader fit? this is a used loader and don't really want the dealer run around..thought some of you all might have some info

The 2400 is an older version of the 2426 and 2446 loaders currently made by Bush Hog, without the quick-attach for the bucket. The brackets will be tractor specific, but their website may be of some help:

My computer won't let me get to specific models but I would say that loader would fit a tractor in the 40-70hp range. Just my guess.

My father in law has one on a Ford 4000.

I'd just call any Bush Hog dealer and they could give you the price for the brackets and tell you which tractors it'll fit.

I THINK our MF283 has a 2400 on it but will check tonight to be sure.

Yes, the MF 283 has the 2400; the Case 1070 has the 2840.
Check with your local tractor house; they can tell if it'll fit and what you need to make it fit.

I had that loader on a 4000SU Ford.
They make mounting brackets for a great number of tractors. You need to tell them what tractor you have to find out if there is a mount.
