Our little river is rocking and rolling. Picture looking downstream from our bridge. The reservoir up stream 40+ miles was letting out 125 cubic feet a second on Monday. Yesterday at this time they were dumping a little less than 600 CFS. Right now it is 810 CFS. It takes about a day for the water to get here from the reservoir. So the water is still going up. There is 309 square miles that feed into the reservoir. It has 2 to 10 feet of snow on it. And it is 74 degrees today and supposed to be in the 80's over the weekend. The irrigation ditch is running just about full and the head gate is shut. The water is running over the head gate. The last picture is where we cross the river with cows. You can see the gate on the other side of the river. I have driven my quad across there a number times. Just lift your feet up. Today the quad would be under water and most likely your head too. We are about to get a whole new meaning to flood irrigation.
