I can't resist the urge to correct the title. Those were Cape Buffalo, not Water Buffalo. That was an awesome clip though.

Had some water buffaloes come through the sale barn here a few years ago.

4 cows, one calf, and a bull. Sold for pretty good prices and were gentle as a lamb.

Started to buy 'em.

You could breed white buffalos ;-)

I know you can breed a buffalo and cattle but what about water buffalo and cattle??

Water buffalo/Domestic cattle hybrids

Water buffalo and domestic cattle cannot hybridize. In laboratory experiments, the embryos fail around the 8-cell stage.


Thats a bummer!!
