They've been known to breed back late after twinning.I don't think anyone here will look down on an old cow of yours coming up open after raising twins.
I'm amazed tho. Some will breed right back!

She's doing ok. She's a bit thinner Than I like so may wean early. Putting everything she has in those calves so hasn't cycled yet as far as I can tell. They look good! How's mama holding up?
I'll try to get a picture of the two of them together and post but in the meantime here's a pic of red one.Sounds like a WIN to me!

Weaned them back beginning of September. Black steer will not eat grain but no problem eating hay. He was the bigger of the two but red ones catching up now. Tape weighed them at right around 500 pounds. Finally got rain, rain, and more rain so don't mind the mud mess. Got so bad I just opened the gate and let them back out to pasture. So far everyone is staying where they belong.I'll try to get a picture of the two of them together and post but in the meantime here's a pic of red one.
Well I sold the twins last week and the group they sold in averaged 509# and they brought 2.60 a pound so averaged $2646 for the pair. Not bad for a cow I paid $100 for 7 years ago. She's definitely earned her keep. She is also bred back a little later but ultrasound confirmed with single pregnancy this time.2 calves from a cow that milks well will bring lots more than a single calf from a normal cow. You done good.
