turkeys still bunched up

Yesterday as i was showing my uncle around the farm we saw a few turkeys in a milo stubble field we pulled in to the pasture next to them and I wish I has a camera. Counted over 120 birds in one flock he was amazed to see that many in one area. The day before we saw 40 on a wheat field. I need to clean my gun and wait for season to open :cboy:

S&S turkeys seem to be getting active around here as well. Had about 15 behind the house yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon had a group of about 9 fly across the road right in front of me, then about 10 miles up the road saw a group of about 40 or 50. Also had to almost go around a group of 32 deer. Somebody in the neighborhood must have almost made pets out of the deer as the would hardly get out of the road.

We have bare spots in the fields, deer and turkeys are feasting. Been a long cold one.
