True or false?

Help Support CattleToday:

His statement is both true and false.
If the flag was square it was indeed the battle flag for the Army of Northern Virginia. It was not "The Flag" of the Confederacy but is the one most associated today with the seceding states.

I found that while shopping for confederate flag stickers. Not in stock even at Amazon. ;(
Yeah, just saw a headline somewhere that ebay and Amazon had outlawed anything with a Confederate flag on it. Opens up opportunities for others.

Not to change the subject by why are the warmups for the USA woman's soccer team black w dayglo stripes ?? What happen to the Ol Red white and blue!??

Being from the north I relate the Confederate flag more to southern rebel rock music such as Lynyrd Skynyrd more than
anything else. Guess that's my personal blind spot.

South Park had best solution to a supposedly "Racist Flag" in season 4 episode "Chef Goes Nanners"
See why it's not a racist flag to Kyle and Stan and the solution. You have to scroll down to player 1 to view.

This was South Carolina's flag and is the one that should have been flying if history was everyone's main concern.

I have two Blood Stained Banners and as you history buffs may know this one was never surrendered.

Never cared much for the battle flag because I think it was disgraced by the skin heads, nazis and the modern klan which in my opinion is just a bunch of ignorant white trash neo-nazi racist bigots.

Joe I think that's the main reason folks have some negative feelings toward that flag. Not anything at all to do with the war between the states but things that have happened with other groups doing their sinister deeds under that same flag..primarily the groups you mentioned above.

Now that is funny as one of biggest enemies of the USA is the socialist states of the west
with their sanctuary policies along with the welfare slavery system.
At least the boys that fought under the Stars and Bars were fighting for what they saw as constitutional rights.

I heard Ebay, Walmart, and a WHOLE WHACK of other spineless retailers pulled anything with that flag.. Even NASCAR!

So if you want to make a stink, just don't buy anything from them.
