I really like red polls also... as you said, great disposition and some that we had were more of the dual purpose ones. Used a red poll bull for years as a clean up and he was just the best dispositioned you could ever want.
Hate to see you thinking about selling them.. sure wish I was closer... I would be very interested...

And as much as most here are of the same thoughts and don't like twins etc... I am just the opposite, twins are just fine in my book. If I have to pull one I will... but we have had several raise twins over the years.... sometimes the cow just doesn't want one and I will bottle feed or put on a nurse cow...

True red polls do not have shorthorn in them. They were originally developed in England and I think the original breeds are now extinct.

This is correct they are a Norfolk red and Suffolk Dun cross from England.
