The lessor of two evils. Hornets or wasps?

We don't have any red wasp around that's for sure CB. And I'm not real sure what to do about the Hornets. The nest is getting bigger every week. But our fireplace chimney is north of the nest about 20 feet. So the Hornets will be getting smoked good in a month or two.

To me the hornets are much easier to live with than red wasp.
Leave the hornets alone and they leave you alone.
Red wasp will just sting you cause they like too and for no reason.

I've never messed with a hornets nest. It occurs to me after watching these videos, a man wouldn't have much of a chance if he bumped one.
