Tell me about longhorn cross cattle

Crossing with Angus bulls does not seem to work as well as using a char or red Limousin bull.

I have studied this subject. This is the best piece of advice you'll get.

The offspring do sell for less than other beef cattle.

The better the cow the better the calf. The better the grass they are on the better the calf. I prefer the Red bulls for a more solid colored calf and better muscle.

Cheese you are full of crap. Char is a good way to but no better than some other crosses.

Red Bull I have never said anything bad about your limo bulls and I think they are the second best you can put on a Longhorn for growth size....but Charolais is the best you can put on Longhorns and other people will agree with me. We are having alot of solid colored calves as well so the Limo does just as good solid color wise as the Charolais
