Tale of Two Doctors

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same
complaint. Both have trouble walking and appear to require hip
surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same
day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an
appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an
x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his
surgery scheduled for 6 months from then , pending the review board
'sdecision on his age and remaining value to society.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet.

The SECOND is a Senior Citizen on Obama care...

In November, if there is no change in government, we'll all have to
find a good vet.

I gaurantee you that there are many folks who do not believe that this kind of thing can.....and will happen.

All they need to do is look at how medical services are in many other countries. There is a reason why so many people come to the USA for medical treatment.....because they can get it, rather quickly......for now.

No matter how it happens, I live it every day. No insurance for my existing injury that was supposed to be treated.
My insurance company was ordered to treat me for my injuries which is expensive. They know that it is getting worse, so they will change the diagnosis to something else that prevents the treatment. I have to go to court and it would take up to 2 years to get it done. I would receive about 50 trigger point injections from my the base of my skull, neck shoulders and upper back with partial meds because the insurance company would only pay for that and it does not help. There is a mixture of three meds that works. They were giving 2 weak solutions that never responded. Then in about 6 months, they would change the diagnosis again. It goes on forever, and the government allows it. This repeats over and over, and I stay upset, and it makes everything worse.
Therefore, I have no treatment for my injuries, yet, illegals would get full treatment. The government will not treat me either. I am slowly losing the use of my hands and my eyes make it very difficult to read the forum if the paragraphs are in one chunk. Often I just can't read those. This is why I stay so upset about Obamacare, death panels, Insurance and doctors taking money to not treat. My life is going to stop short because of it. All the lawyers are liberals because that is what pads their pockets the easy way. The doctors now are legal to take the money under the table from the insurance companies. It is not legal, Obama is not gong to prosecute them for it.

Are those injections Epidurals? I have been getting them for thirty years and if they help it is only temporary. My friend in Chico, California had a back/neck surgery last year and has been in constant pain after surgery. Obama Care sucks and will only get worse if the Republican Party does not retain the House and gain the Senate in November. It's all about Money and the Insurance Companies are cleaning up. If they can just do away with us old folks and Vet's they can save a bundle of Cash. No more Social Security, Medicare, and stops your Private Pension Payments.It all goes back to the Dollar.
