Tattoo starts out saying Short when the occasion presents itself says Shorthorn Bar and Grill Chattanooga Tennessee.

The daily med - I can handle - I hate filling that little weekly pill box.
I take most once per day. The Metformin is twice a day. I dump out the
whole selection - take all but one - put it back in ole pill box - hoping
I remember final pill in the evening. Oh well life goes with pill power.

C.P. here's what I have found out about growing old. If you can do it don't stop. Because if you stop you will have to work real hard to be able to do it again. No matter how bad your body hurts get up and do something, laying around just makes it worse. Oh and the blue pill scares me, no way could I survive for 4 hours before seeing a doctor.

Mine's pink and only have to take one twice a year. I'd take more but I'm finding there's no use when there's a lack of participation.

Been taking Lipitor about 5 years. Cholesterol is down to 120 but guess Doc wants me to stay on it. Having taken a Valium tablet everyday for 40 years or so and was put on Prozac in '89. No depression in ages but afraid to quit taking the Prozac. Also take a baby aspirin every day and for some reason doc put me on Niacin at the same time she put me on the Lipitor...BP is perfect but because of the baby aspirin the least little scratch will make me bleed like a stuck hog.

BTW brother in law gave me one of his "blue pills" abotu 10 years ago. They work as advertised!!!!! But god I had a killer headache it seems for 3 days.

Better, take a Cialis 20mg and you're good for week and you won't get a headache or sinus congestion like you do with the blue pills.

I've never understood that one... If women brag about how good they are at multi-tasking, why can't they have sex and a headache at the same time?

Sky, I think the thing about a-fib is that it is undiagnosed until we're older and it causes something specific.
I've had a very fast heart rate my whole life. Never gave it much thought until I was over 40. A-fib is just something else to live with and manage. I watch my diet and activity level.
I don't take anything daily for any issues. Just when and as needed.

For anyone using NSAID's daily...talk to your doctor about alternatives. They're great for occasional use, but daily use will eventually do to you what happened to CB.
Aleve, motrin, advil ....They are all very hard on the stomach and the damage is never completely reversed.

Vicodin for back pain. No set amount, my back lets me know when I need it. I only take 1/2 pill as needed.
I also take Prilosec for acid reflux. I tried stopping, it only took a few days of skipping it for my body to tell me that was a mistake.

Get your gall baldder checked--removing it competently cured my father.

My problem was CHF but they put a portable harness with a defibulator that I had to wear 24/7 for 6 months. At 600 bucks a month, happy for insurance. Finally told them what they could do with it and shipped it back.
