Suggestions on AI for commercial herd

I'm going to AI my cows this year rather than use the same conventional bulls I have been using so I'm hoping to get some suggestions on sires.

My herd is a pretty generic crayon herd with some brangus influence. There is definitely some ear present on almost all the cows. The calves will be sold through the local sale barn and I am open to retaining some of the heifers if they develop well but I'm not dead set on keeping any.

I am thinking either Angus or Charolais and I would like to be as economical as possible so i would like to keep it at no more than 20 dollars a straw. Any input is appreciated

Simangus bull from Select Sires. Saw him a lot when he was on test here in Alabama. As a yearling, he was one of the most impressive bulls I've ever seen. Perfect feet and plenty of muscle in a stout, moderate package. I've used him a good bit the last few years. Steers have been the best calves in the farm. Heifers aren't going to blow you away with femininity, but they are really nice. Only have one that has calved, but she has a perfect udder. He's homozygous black and polled, so he'll make black calves with a bit more muscle.

Obviously, there are tons of Angus, Char, and other bulls that'll work, but for a commercial guy I just don't think you can do much better.

I would start with B3R. They have angus and charolais raised in TX.

I'd use this bull from select. You should get some hybrid vigor but you need better carcass qualities if you want buyers to go after your calves. If you just want big go with Fortress. Both are $20 I think.
