Great news for South Devon breeders and Limousin as well. The supreme lead steer at the Toowoomba Royal Show (Toowoomba's about an hour west of Brisbane about 800 metres above sea level) The steer was sired by a SD sire out of a Limousin cow. he also won the middleweight class. This steer had also won at a couple of other shows. This breed combination is great. This combination has figured well at Brisbane Royal over the past 10 years. Pity a few more Charolais and Angus breeders don't use the South Devon to soften these breeds up. :tiphat:
