Well, spring has sprung around here, snow's pretty much gone, just some left on the north side of the bush. But that didn't stop me from making a bit of a hike to the bush.

Holy Crap Karin', i'll have to save this post for another day when the DSL is more capable.

Nice pics. Thanks. I went to Canada years ago and this reminded me of how pretty it was. I also remember mosquitoes - lots of em - and some kinda little fly that bit pretty hard. Do ya'll have many. They didn't seem to bother you much till around sunset.

Thanks and your welcome. Well, the mosquitoes haven't started to come out yet, but they soon will, probably around early to mid-May. Those little black flies, they are around, but they're not as abundant as them dang mosquitoes. And mosquitoes, they'll bother you around the clock if your in the right place.

Alberta, that third picture is one of them that will confuse you. i like those.

What tickles me, is many people down here hope we will get a hard freeze to kill them skeeters. I just keep my mouth shut and remember my trip to Canada.
