To all you folks that have used Bub's Southern Charm for the past year or two, I'd love to see any pics you have snapped. Any input on foot quality as well. We are considering using him this upcoming year but I just haven't seen many calves for sale out of him.

These are on a sale in mo next monday.

I have a few coming the 1st of the year and then a "butt load" coming the first part of February. We flushed him to my Tour of Duty daughter and an Earnan daughter. The Tour of Duty daughter did very well with our flush of Acclaims. Our Earnan daughter may be the best mating with Bubs though.

My one Bubs daughter is good, just not spectacular. Nothing really stands out with her but she grows on you more every time you look at her. Her foot EPD would suggest that they are bad. I haven't seen anything yet and nothing appears as though we'll see anything in the foreseeable future. I walk bunk lines JUST to look at their feet (and tell them they're pretty)...

We just preg checked on Tuesday and I have 3 southern charms coming early March .

I got 2 of the three down both bulls weighing 95 pounds each. A lot bigger than I expected especially out of my cows.

We used Southern Charm for 2019 calves. At AI time he had a CED of +7 and a reasonable BW, so we AI'd 4 heifers to him. Had to use OB chains and T handle on every one of them. Their heads and a little extra bone made him too much for heifers. By the time our calves hit the ground, I think he had gone to CED of +3. We had one bull make the sale pen, one got sick after weaning and got swollen joints so became a steer, one heifer in the replacement pen and one died as a calf with all the bad weather last year. The sale bull pic is here: https://www.horsecreekangus.com/angus-bulls - he is really gentle, which made it hard to get video. Not trying to sell anything, just showing the pic.
