So Wednesday I took a day off and sold some odd calves and a few cull cows. Mostly because I wanted a day off from building fence.

I think it might be interesting to some. See all the calves where approx the same age. 5 to 6 months.
Since I have some full-time mamma cows of different breeds. And that many more trader cows. There's a interesting mix on this stub. I wish I would have took my biggest char xsteer . But I didn't.

The heifer was a Hereford and a dink
The 200.00 steer was a pure longhorn.
The black steers where from a registered Angus bull.
The low selling one was outta black corriente cow.
The 900.00 was from a f1 brangus cow. Had droopy ears ,leather, and tall and lanky.
The other two . Where thick and very Angus in appearance.
Not enough sample to be worth much
But same day, and some of the same buyers. ....
Fwiw. The calves were uncut, and trailer weaned. ( Like I said they were odds )

I'm curious how you racked up $3,500 in misc charges. You get in a brawl at the burger counter and bust up the place?

I was thinking he was feeling generous and opened up a tab for everyone that day.
