C Bar C Lux. A September home bred bull AI sired by Hatchet 150. Top 2% for WW, YW, and HCW. https://www.livestockgenetics.net/sgbip ... 1=20133389

Old_School.jpg

RR Old School. We recently purchased this young bull for his growth and carcass EPDs. We will be collecting this bull soon. https://www.livestockgenetics.net/sgbip ... 1=20143202

Boggz.jpg

C Bar C Boggz. He is our senior herd sire. He doesn't have the EPD numbers of the other 2, but has produced moderate, thick, and lengthy calves that are very docile. https://www.livestockgenetics.net/sgbip ... d1=1290138

Camo.jpg

Camo. He is a 3 year old Hef son out of a Hefte cow. The picture is not the greatest, but this bull has sired some of our top calves this year. https://www.livestockgenetics.net/sgbip ... d1=1297584

I do not have a current picture of this calf, but take a look at how balanced his EPDs are. Top 1% for WW, YW, HCW, Ribeye. Top 2% for Milk. This picture was taken on day 2 of weaning. On their 21 day trial, this bull gained 100 lbs. Could not upload the photo to Photobucket, or else I'd post the one I have of him. He is a son of the Camo bull. https://www.livestockgenetics.net/sgbip ... 1=20151100

I like the RR Old School yearling bull. He looks a lot like his maternal grandsire. Should do you a great job. We more good polled genetics.

Brian,
I think he is the best of the bunch too. It is tough finding the right bull. Darrell has been a great partner for a long time, and knew this was the right move for us.

Of this group, I think Old School is the better bull. I am curious ... how old is Boggz; depending on his age in the photo, I may change my mind.

All are nice bulls, but Camo stands out to me. I like his build, nice and long and full of meat. Is he docile?

Her is a picture of RR Old School's maternal grandsire, WR Challenger L230. The younger bull has his grandsire's depth and muscling.

Boggz is 5. Picture was taken last summer I believe.

He is very docile. It is something we have really focused for our bulls. Since my wife and I have 2 year old twin boys (and another set of twins on the way), docility has been a major factor in our animals. There are too many good animals out there to have a few with bad tempers. All of our bulls have at least been halter broke (it also seems to help sell them in our area if they have been haltered some).
