We sold 2 more groups of calves cut off the cows and took to the sale barn yesterday and sold today. One group was sired by a Hoover Dam grandson we bought in 21. The steers averaged 752 lbs and heifers 686 lbs no creep. The other group were baldies and steers weighed 705 and heifers 612 lbs. We were satisfied with how they weighed and sold.
Sold a cow today and plan to sell several more next week. We culled one today by age. Now everything is 10 or under so the hard decisions are left. All the culls are gone. Just thankful the market is good.
