We've been dealing with it a few days now. About 2 inches of snow to add to the sleet and ice we already had. Life is good. Water froze when the power went off and the heat tape was not engergized. Bypassed the water lines with hoses in and out of the overhead tank. Walla! Water in the house again! Then the heat tape thawed the lines and nothing broke.
Driving is a mess. To many hills around here that start just after a sharp curve. No momentum for those little cars to get up those hills. When they get on top and head down they get on the brakes. 40 MPH works great starting up a iced over hill but they never get that fast so they'll never know. Everyone behind them has to stop when they spin out. It is supposed to get above freezing tomorrow.
