show day!

hey guys, its been a looong time since i've been on here =] anyways...tomorrow my 4-h club is having an open show. today was my county's open show. today I showed my sheep....he didn't do so well. tomorrow i'm taking my steer and i'll see how he does. i'll post pics and results probably tomorrow night or monday.

I'm back! My steer did really well. I weighed him in and he weighed in at 1,273 and he's 48 1/2 inches at the shoulder. I showed him in a class of five with really tough competition and he got 3rd. The GC winner was in my class too. It's about 3 weeks till fair. The judge said my steer needs to fill out in the ribs a bit more and he'd like to see him a bit more softer in his make-up. I forgot the camera so I'll get pictures of him for you guys soon.
