Sexed semen

Talked to my daughter's boyfriend and showed him this thread. His dad does sexing on semen and is getting a 50% success rate on the ET. That's as much as I can remember about the details. He did say that anything less would point to a field op error.

Why sex them? PBR wants bulls, not heifers.

How is he sexing his semen ??? The best way is using XY technology....

During these last days I have been in Brazil which is the number one country in IVF reproduction and they told me sexed semen was not performing well for flushing but was doing ok on IVF embryos.

Next week I am recieving some sexed straws from Select Sires so I will let you know what happends...
