I agree with everything you said, cattle eat it fine and fertilizer is a must to allow the coastal or tifton to crowd it out. However, people don't like to buy hay with burrs and I can't blame them. Horses won't eat the hay and it infests their land. I'd like to be rid of it once and for all.
