Sale day

I had to go into Luling this morning and coming back out I saw 8-10 people going in pulling empty trailers. Today is sale day. Luling isn't a big sale and it's unusual to see that many going in empty just from my little corner of the county.Z

Did ya'll get some of that rain I been seeing on the Weather Channel ? Maybe everybody thinks the grass is gonna shoot up.
Might be a good day to sell a few.

We haven't gotten the monster rains they've gotten over toward Houston.. The line seems to be 50-60 miles east of us. We have gotten some decent showers (1/2 -1 1/2 in.) so it is greening up pretty good. I'm betting there'll be a lot of oats planted. This country is a pretty heavy sandy loam that takes and hold the water well.Z

Dad told me they were turning people away from the sale in Dublin because they didn't have enough room. Over 2000 head went through and they usually only handle about 1000? Something like that, I wasn't there so not sure.
