Rye Grass Stocking Rates

Curious if anyone had a rule of thumb for the # of head/acre for periodic rye grass grazing. I plant into a prepared seedbed with 3 different applications of N through the grazing season. The cattle usually get 3-4 days a week on the grass then I'll pull them off. All pairs.

The region where the land is located is a factor on how many cattle can be run to the acre, rain,temperature,army worms, how many days of growing season all affect the growth . Some years are good some bad some are a complete failure. There is not an answer to your question because no two years are the same.
