I was kinda in your same situation 2 years ago. I bought 80 acres and started reading every book I could find. I probably read 40 books the winter before we started buying animals. Now most guys laugh at a city boy trying to learn how to farm reading books but it works believe it or not. Any book from storey publishing is a must buy. thomas is a very good author too. Pm me if you want to know specifics about books because I have read 80% of what amazon sells based on farming or animals. You wont learn everything but what you dont you can learn on here.
