This fall my oldest (9) had the hiccups, I waited for the right time and scared the bejeezus out of her. She mean mugged me hard until I asked her what happened to her hiccups, got me a big sweetheart grin after that.I laughed so hard I got the hiccups!
And that kids, is "How I Met Your Mother"Sometimes you post something as a joke, and it starts out okay. Then it grows legs and eventually buys its own car
I had hiccups for 3 days once. Finally in the ER they gave me muscle relaxers, it was getting painful. When I woke up they were gone. I was starting to get edgy and pizzed off.I laughed so hard I got the hiccups!
I carried a small plastic bottle of corn starch in my fire pack for years. I have dropped my pants and used it a lot while on the fireline. Corn starch and moleskin patches were always in my supplies. In all seriousness, if you get chapped between the cheeks I can highly recommend just getting a handful of corn starch and rubbing it on the affected area. It's cheap, and gives instant relief. My father told me about it probably 40 years ago.
