Putting a Winch on Equipment Trailer

I want to put a winch on a new equipment trailer I bought. My question is, any of you have a winch mounted by using a receiver hitch. What I'm thinking is to mount the winch plate to a hitch and have a receiver welded to the front rail. I don't want to leave the winch on the trailer all the time, I have a tongue toolbox to keep the winch in. Any of you have a set up like this? I would like to hear your thoughts, see pictures of your set up.
