Purchasing Highlands in California

I want to purchase a "pet quality" Highland. I have no interest in showing or eating the beast - just love their temperment and looks. I already have a couple of donkeys and will be getting several rescue sheep.

I remember seeing a web site where they advertised a calf for $100 adoption fee. Can't find it anymore. Any ideas. I live in Central California.
