Prolapse Reoccurring

What are the chances that a cow who prolapses will do so again with the next calf ? Is this a high probability ? Should this cow be culled ?

Take a look at Texans post below, do a search on the subject and you will probably find - unless she should be culled for another reason, no cull

It depends if you are talking about a vaginal prolapse or a uterine prolapse. Sell vaginal prolapse, keep uterine prolapse.

Beefmaker, I always heard the opposite. I sell em either way.

The conventional wisdom used to be that if they prolapse before calving they'll prolapse again, if the prolapse after they won't. It's wrong, if they prolapse once the odds arer they will prolapse again, if they live.
