Price differences

I hear alot about how it is easier to market truckload lots of calves. What kind of price difference per head do you normaly see between selling a truckload vs individual i.e. auction barn. What other benefits are there to selling truckload lots? Also what weights to feedyards target to start cattle?

I'd guess between $5 and $8 cwt. If you look at the Jan 18 market report for Ft Pierre. Mowery's 678's and Keckler's 681's were almost the same cattle except some were baldies but if I remember they were still better calves but brought less.
