Plus 9.6 BW EPD

I get a sale magazine this weekend and there is a bull for sale with a BW EPD of 9.6. Crazy. At least they had the decency to say "recommended for mature cows".

What happened to the knives at some of these places?

I did the photography for a sale catalogue where several bulls had actual BW of 115-125lbs. Crazy!

Yeah, but think how great the ones that make it out and are smart enough to find a teat will grow! :help:

I have seen several catalogs this year that had RA bulls for sale at birthweights over 120#. Why. Why? WHY!

One of the most popular shorthorn bulls going right now has a bw epd of +8.4 at over 75% acc. I don't know who keeps using him but it sure aint me!
