Pipe Pens vs Wood Pens

My vet is a young one.I suppose he is thinking the animal will injure themselves if they get too crazy.

If that is the case, I wonder what he thinks will happen if a crazy breaks a board and gets caught on the wrong end of it? Pipe won't break and impale/rip like boards can.

We have been using 5'x20' pannels, 1' off the ground (any less and it will rust out), with a 2 3/8s on top and bottom, upright every 10'. It has worked surprisingly well and is pretty quick to put up. We have some with a pipe in the middle also but it is really not necessary and adds alot more time. ;-)

Seen too many cattle go over, under, through board pins. :x
