Hello everybody!
Summer is gone, Winter is here … at least in Montana. We had lots of pasture customers this year on a per pair base for a decent rate, but on the term that the customers are doing the checking etc. on their own, since we were busy with farming anyway.
I would like to hear some peoples recipes and how to charge fair for not included extras.
Example:
We had to get our hands out several times to gather cows and put them back where they belong. We usually
charge for that 125 bucks per hand per day doing those things.
or
When the final gathering comes, or preg testing, they are running their cattle through our facilities, our chute.
We have the clean up, the chute maintenance and the trash removal … so .. the feeling was we should charge
at least 1 Dollar per animal running through the chute.
I would love to hear your thoughts or how you handle those things.
