If one uses a Limousin bull on a female Brangus what color would the offspring be?

Is she a registered Brangs, or just a black cow with some ear? If she's a registered Brangs, I'd think she'd produce black calves bred to either color Limi bull. The black color is dominant.

even if she is registerd. she may carry a red gene then you might have around 50 percent chance it could be red bout the only way too find out is too breed her. should make for a nice calf no matter what

We bought a black cow with lots of ear, dewlap and large navel flap. She looks very much like a Brangus. She was bred when we bought her but we don't know to what she was bred.
The calf she had is tan colored and leggy. He is a very light color and we were surprised. Just wondered what might be the sire.

Most likely charolais. Some brangus are quite leggy.

We've had purebred Brangus calves that were chocolate colored born here. They usually turn black with time. Does the calf look like he's Brangus?

This calf does not look Brangus; he actually looks more Limousin. At least he has that color. He's bigger than our Angus calves.

alot of cows of various breeding can look brangusy and throw random colors. but a real brangus should have black or red calves sired by limousin.

Mosho - What you are telling us is - you don't know exactly what the cow genetics are - and you ABSOLUTELY DON'T know what breed bull the calf is by.

At best, any guess is probably wrong!

purple with a pinkish tint

Waht color will the polka dots be?

dun
Dark Green on a Light White Polka Dot background.

isnt there a 25% chance of having a dark white polka dot background?

Only if both parents carry the dark white polka dot gene. Light white is dominant.
