Last year my last 2 chickens vanished-'bout a month apart.
I heard them go-that tuk-tuk sound,moveing away..no feathers,no sign..Both feral roosters,so no worries,right? Owl/coyote/dog..
Thursday,I drove into the yard,and there's one of 'em crowing at me! When I left next mornong,there was the other one!! :shock:
SO,I have an infestion of HUMANS,that think my yard is theyrs.
My real question is WHY BRING THEM BACK???
The roosters are now 7 years old!! YES it is the same roosters-you think I don't know my stock??
Now I gotta buy a shootgun

Dang, that's mighty strange.

Yup that's strange. Someone dropped off three very large geese at my farm about three years ago. Never did like the things. Finely got tired of them chasing the calves away from the feeders and shot em. Made hot sticks and jerky out of them, not bad.
