I was in 3rd grade. Teacher had left the room and we were coming back from another class and her TV was on. We all brought our chairs in front of the TV and watched. I'm sure none of us REALLY knew what was going on, but when I got home and my older brother was all upset- I knew it wasn't anything good. Also heard a sonic boom from some type of aircraft flying over.
