From the people I know that have them, the tractors with the def fluid are liked better than the ones without. The ones without have to go through much more and much longer regeneration whereas the def fluid reduces that and seem to reduce a lot of the problems they were having with the non-def tractors. These have been on John Deere, Kubota, and New Holland. Not any Massey dealers around, so don't know anyone with them. It has been the same in our trucks at work, the newer ones with the def fluid have been MUCH more reliable than the pre-def. Which, for myself, I prefer the tractors prior to any of the emissions, that's why I will try to get my Ford 5640 and 6640 to last as long as I can!
