She's black, alive, probably pregnant, no visible loss of blood or other important bodily fluids, all 4 of her feet reach the ground, ears aren't froze off. neither is her tail, no visible snot. All things considered if she made it to 8 in somebodys herd and you didn't pay too much, she's probably a keeper!

i was tired of buckets and young calfs and i can pick one like her up fo little or nothing from 200-600 just about every week

If you have got the room, that is the kind to buy, all you can handle. Take the calf out of them, and sell the cow if you dont think she is worth re-breeding. You will never promote a breed that way, but you will make money.

Good buy! Little older than I would like to buy a cow, but for 550 I would take as many as I could find.
