Need New Key

Well, My truck got broken into last night and everything out of my console was taken, including my tractor keys. Would anyone know how I would go about getting another key? Its for a John Deere. Thanks

If the tractor has the factory switch, you should be able to take your tractor model & serial number to the Deere dealer & buy a replacement key or two.

In fact if JD is like most equipment outfitters, they will have at least one master key that will fit darned near anything on the lot or in your yard.

Years ago - I ran a Case IH operation in Berwyn Alberta and had two keys that would allow me entry into almost any type of tractor or combine. Colour did not seem to matter.

Give your dealer a shout - I know for a fact he can help you faster and easier than you might think.

Probably for a lot less cash than you might suspect. I used to give replacement keys to our customers if they needed a replacement. Cheap advertising and certainly appreciated by the client.

I think all john deere keys are almost the same i will go and see tomarrow on my tractor and my neihbors
